Being passionate about something makes you do crazy things...

Like never taking vacations at work when everybody else does, just to save those
precious few days to attend a skating event in some remote, obscure location...

Like waking up at dawn in the above mentioned obscure location to go and watch an ice dance practice at 5.30 am... when you've gone to bed at 2am!

Like working crazy hours for free, just for the sake of helping out, or hidden in a shoebox office while right behind a wall some big event is going on and you can't see a thing...

Like spending nights creating websites, writing articles, painting banners,
watching competitions just to live and show our support to our heros and our friends...
and being back to the office the next day...

Like thinking that Gelsenkirchen might be a beautiful venue for an holiday,
and Bratislava holds magic memories...

Like deciding to try out the sport... and falling so completely in love with it that coming back from another city after a hard week of work, arriving barely in time to make it to an 22.30/00.30 friday night dance session seems like a perfectly good idea...

This is my passion, what I really care about...

Thank you to all my friends who have introduced me to this beautiful world,
and have shared so many emotions, good or bad, with me;

Thank you to all the athletes who make this all possible,
and to all the skaters whom I can say
I have the luck of calling "friends"...
& everyone else!!
